During the 10-day course, you will receive hands-on training in all required elements of building these stunning garden rooms from foundations to roofing and everything in between. In turn you will become a certified member of the Serenity Installer Team, earning your own Build Territory where you will enjoy peace of mind knowing you’ll be allocated any work coming into your area.

Having grown our Nottinghamshire based business steadily over the last 5 years, we now want to create a skilled network of carefully selected installers that will provide an even more robust UK wide service to trade under the Serenity Garden Rooms name.

Enjoy hassle free ordering. You take requirements and let us do the hard work, including CAD drawings, full quote for the customer and creation of a materials order list. Once a contract is agreed just place your order which will be available to collect from our main site. Delivery options are also available. Rest easy with ongoing support and advice for as long as you are a Serenity Approved Installer. Operate in a designated area that’s local and convenient to you.

Our Fees

• Flat fee of £5,000 inc. VAT per group – group size 1-3. Sessions will contain a maximum of 3 groups.
We recommend at least two to run effectively, as well as for health and safety when you’re on the job.
• Fee includes materials needed for the course and a massive £1000 budget for advertising in your area.
• Payments can be made by debit/credit card or bank transfer and must be paid in full upon registering.
• Membership fee upon successful completion of the course is £199 per month

Our Course

Covering 10 working days, you will have the opportunity to build two unique garden rooms from beginning to end. The course is based in our Nottinghamshire workshop (with on-site parking!) where everyone will have the opportunity to have hands-on experience and practice. Topics you will cover:

• Survey the area
• Installing ground screws
• Installing the base
• Framing the walls and preparing apertures
• Skillion roof construction with none, single and dual elevation overhang
• Weather Proofing
• Cladding, vertical and horizontal, shadow gap and TVG
• Complete EPDM roof training including guttering
• Correct insulation installation
• First fix electrical cabling
• Drying lining
• Plastering
• Second fix electrical (preparation only)
• Doors and windows installation
• Flooring, including laminate flooring, underfloor heating and skirting boards
• Internal and external door lining and architraves
• Partition walls and internal doors
• Health and Safety
• Business setup and development
• Required tools and their use

Assessments:
• Practical assessment through the course.
• You must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency
• Certificate provided upon completion
